Our 2 days Lake Mburo Safari takes you to Lake Mburo National Park in western Uganda. Lake Mburo is one of the smallest savannah parks in Uganda and is a great addition if you are visiting Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking or Kibale Forest National Park for chimpanzee trekking.

Day 1: Pick-up from Kampala and Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park for an Afternoon Boat Cruise.
According to your location in Kampala, on the first day of the two-day Lake Mburo safari in Uganda, our driving guide will pick you up from your accommodation early in the morning, brief you on the safari, and then begin the travel to Lake Mburo National Park in the western province of Uganda. You will see beautiful scenery along the road before continuing on to the park. Upon arrival, you will check into the lodge for lunch.
Following lunch, you will proceed to the landing spot for an unforgettable boat tour on Lake Mburo. During the two-hour boat ride, you will see hippos and crocodiles in the lake, buffaloes, warthogs, and antelopes along the shoreline, as well as water birds such as cormorants, hornbills, bee-eaters, and kingfishers, and fisherman fishing. Following the intriguing boat ride, you will proceed on a brief game drive around the park, where you can see creatures such as zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, waterbucks, and warthogs, among others. After the game drive, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner and stay.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Transfer Back to Kampala- Departure.
On the final day of your two-day Lake Mburo safari in Uganda, you will check out of the lodge and meet your driver guide for a morning game drive where you will be able to see animals such as giraffes, zebras, impalas, waterbucks, warthogs, oribi, and topi grazing in the open savannah plains, as well as the beautiful sunrise and various bird species.
After the wildlife drive, you will leave the park and go to Kampala, stopping for lunch near the Equator along the way. After lunch, you will continue your journey to Kampala, where you will arrive in the early evening and your driver guide will drop you off at whatever location you choose.
