KATAZA HOUSE – VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK RWANDA
Kataza house is referred to as luxury accommodations found right at the edge of volcanoes national park in the northwestern part of Rwanda. The house is outside the park on the foothills of sabinyo, muhabura and gahinga volcanoes and 72 hectares of private landscape of wetlands and meadows. The house is operated and owned by Singita group of companies that run different ambient accommodation across Africa. The house is situated approximately 2-3 hours BY ROAD from Kigali International airport (the gateway destination to different parts of Rwanda) and 30 minute flight by helicopter to the lodge. The house is convenient and best place for tourists, travellers, and holiday makers for relaxation and Gorilla trekking activity since its close to Volcanoes national park the home of more endangered mountain gorillas in Rwanda
Kataza house is comprised of 4 spacious and comfortable bedrooms that accommodates maximum of 8 guests and perfect for family / small group overlooking the beautiful views of Virunga Volcanoes reflecting traditional building style with high levels of modern comfort. The Villa is well furnished and decorated with private en suite facilities of flushing toilets , private bathroom with hot and cold showers , mosquito nets ,hair driers , flat screen TV’S, satellites , extinguishers, free toiletries, free complementary bottles , Air conditioner and many few facilities .
Villa has private balconies, sitting areas and terraces overlooking the spectacular views over the virunga volcanoes and surrounding areas. Villa has excellent facilities with clean and washed beddings. There is a fireplace where guests relax and share stories about the safari , it also provides warmth to guest during chill weather. Villa vary in different sizes with singles beds for individuals , doubles beds for couple or two people , twin, triple /family rooms with different costs ranging from 500$ per person per night and above while sometimes rate goes slightly high when its peak/high seasons than in low seasons.

Volcanoes national park is the largest and most visited national park found in the North western part of Rwanda country .The park occupies the total area of 505 square miles of rainforest and surrounded by five of volcanoes in virunga mountains namely ; Karisimbi , Bisoke , Muhabura , Gahinga and Sabinyo and there are two active volcanoes that covers 25 miles apart namely; Mauna loa and Kilavea. Apart from volcanoes national park, Rwanda has different parks include; Nyungwe and Akagera national park with different attractions. Though Rwanda is a small land locked, tourism is the fast and leading activity.
