Detailed Itinerary for 6 Days Africa Tanzania Wildlife Safari
Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Manyara National Park
Your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, which is approximately a 2-hour drive. Upon your arrival in the park, enjoy a game drive as you look out for wildlife such as tree-climbing lions, monkeys, buffalo, flamingos, and so many more. Lunch will be served at your lodge, and you will rest for a while before heading back out for an evening game drive in the park.
Dinner and overnight at your lodge inside the park.
Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
After having your breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the park and later lunch at your lodge. You will then transfer to Serengeti National Park. The national park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a top safari destination in Africa and home to about 550 cheetahs, 4000 lions, over 2 million ungulates, and 1000 leopards.
Enjoy an evening game drive in the park, which is the best time to spot wildlife when they are active. Look out for lions hunting prey, the elusive leopard, rhinos, elephants, elands, cheetah, and buffalo, among others.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drives in Serengeti
Have a hearty breakfast meal and prepare yourself for a whole day of game viewing in Serengeti National Park. Enjoy viewing wildlife roaming freely in the park and look out for herds of wildebeest, elephants, zebras, lions, gazelles, and elands, among others.

Day 4: Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, depart Serengeti National Park as you enjoy a morning game drive. You will drive to Olduvai Gorge, which is a famous historic archaeological site where Louis and Mary Leakey discovered the earliest evidence of human evolution. Later, proceed with your drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Drive
Start your day early in the morning with breakfast at your lodge. You will then drive to Ngorongoro Crater Area for amazing crater game drives. As you descend about 2000 feet to the crater floor, you will view a large number of wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, wildebeest, black rhinos, zebra, hyenas, eland, gazelles, and hartebeests, among others. Have your packed lunch and enjoy more game viewing if you wish.
Later, head back to your lodge for dinner.
Day 6: Transfer Back to Arusha
After having breakfast, check out of your lodge and embark on your return journey to Arusha. After having your lunch, your driver will drop you off at a hotel of your choice or the airport in case you have an evening flight back home.
