Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Given your location in Kampala/Entebbe, on the first day of the three-day Murchison Falls safari, you will be greeted by our driving guide, who will educate you on the safari before beginning the journey to Murchison Falls National Park in northern Uganda. On the route, you’ll stop at the Ziwa rhino reserve to monitor rhinos before continuing on to Masindi town for lunch.
From lunch, you will continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, where you will drive right to the top of the falls to experience stunning views of the waterfalls, water splashes, and many bird species. From the top of the falls, you will drive to your lodging for dinner and stay.
Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
On the second day of your three-day Murchison Falls safari, after an early breakfast, you will meet with your driving guide for the morning wildlife drive, which begins very early in the morning. During the game drive, you will see elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeest, lions, waterbucks, warthogs, leopards, Uganda kobs, and a variety of bird species. After the wildlife drive, you will return to your accommodation for lunch.
Once you have completed your lunch, you will embark on an exciting boat cruise adventure to the bottom of the falls, where you will be able to cruise meters away from animals such as elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, and waterbucks that will be drinking water along the shores, as well as see large concentrations of hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, aquatic bird species, and more. Following the intriguing boat journey, you will meet your driving guide and return to the lodge for an evening of leisure, supper, and overnight stay, as described above.
Day 3: Departure to Kampala
On the final day of the three-day Murchison Falls safari, you will have a leisurely breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet your driver guide to begin your trip back to Kampala. You will eat lunch en route before continuing to Kampala, where you will arrive early evening. Upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport for your departing flight, or at any other location as advised.
